Here is Maren trying on her new leotard when we got home from Target and showing us her new moves. She so into Disney Princesses right now, I know this has influenced her desires to become a "ballerina". Every parent and even the teachers had asked me on the first day if Maren had ever had dance before b/c she was so enthusiastic with the moves and really quite coordinated too! She looks so graceful in her pretty outfit! Go Maren!

A few weeks ago, Maren started her new ballet class, "Tippi Toes" at her preschool! She absolutely looks forward to every Tuesday at 2:30 when she can change into her pretty pink leotard and prance around like a fairy with all the other little princesses! She does this cute Alligator song that requires her to sit on the floor and using her legs and arms, make huge "V's" and scream like an alligator would! It seems she loves the warranted use of the scream, indoors! She adores her teachers and it just so fun to watch her!

I love this picture because it shows the love between Maren and Sophia, which never seems to end! They are best friends! And, despite the heat right now, I can say I love spring time here in Texas when the wildflowers come out! I will miss them!

First Day of School--hallelujah!

Maren and Sophie were SO excited to start Mother's Day Out this past week at Yorktown Baptist Church. Maren is a "Bumblebee" this year, and it's her third year in the program! Sophie joined big sissy and is in the "Ducks" class. Sophie did even better than I anticipated, she did not cry at drop-off, and slept on a nap mat for the first time with no problems! I was not even worried as I left the door of the building, and it was much much easier to leave this time around (when Maren started 2 years ago she was howling and I remember thinking they were torturing her and "Oh my God, what have I done!)

It's so hard to believe that we have been married for 6 years on Sunday! My how time flies when you're having fun! We were just 18 and 19 when we met, and now it is crazy to see how our relationship has changed and evolved into marriage and family!
